Volunteering is a way for people to help LCHS while meeting great community-minded people and working for animals. Click here for a list of Volunteer Opportunities. If you have other talents to share, just let LCHS know. We’ll find a job for you!
Since LCHS does not yet have a shelter, we do not currently have direct animal care opportunities except as foster homes. We are always in search of suitable foster homes, for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. If you have some space in your home, and some time in your life for an animal in need, YOU could help LCHS save a life.
LCHS is committed to a set of ethical financial stewardship standards for the LCHS Board, Members, and Volunteers. The Board wants everyone to understand and feel proud of the standards being upheld. By signing the Volunteer application, the Volunteer acknowledges reading and agreeing with the Volunteer Code of Ethics.
