LCHS receives calls and emails weekly asking for help with dogs and cats lost, abandoned, or being relinquished by their families.  Until LCHS has our own shelter, we rely on foster homes to care for animals in need.  Please consider becoming a LCHS foster home. The animals LCHS can’t take in are advertised on the LCHS Facebook page.  Our foster pets available are listed on www.Petfinder.com.  Every animal fostered by LCHS requires at least an initial veterinarian examination, most often  surgical sterilization, vaccinations, and a microchip, and sometimes, emergency medical care.  These services are only provided as a result of the gifts of generous donors, so please consider donating.
