Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR)
LCHS assists with education, traps, arranging for low cost veterinary services appointments, and then returning the animals to their outdoor homes. In addition, LCHS has feral cat shelters available for identified colonies without shelter. In some cases, LCHS may help trap and transport cats for their surgeries, and/or subsidize the cost of those procedures.
It is always preferred to return the cats to the area where they were trapped, but in extreme cases we will consider assisting with finding a new location for the cats.
Complete the form below if you, or someone you know, is a feral cat colony caregiver in your Leavenworth County neighborhood, town or rural area, and would like assistance in the LCHS TNR program. The LCHS TNR Program Chair will contact you to coordinate services.
