Feral cat colony?

If you know of, or are caring for a colony of feral, free-roaming or barn cats:

Email LCHS about the colony and its location.

If they aren’t already sterilized, work with LCHS to get the colony TNRed (Trap/Neuter/Return).  This process helps keep the cats more healthy, and prevents litter after litter of kittens.

Calling Animal Control about feral cats, or trapping and taking these cats to Animal Control often leads to their being euthanized.  This creates what is known as a “vaccuum effect,” meaning it just makes space for other feral cats to move in.
