Today, we had a very special visit from a kind human with Butler's Auto Repair, who was also one of the incredible people who worked diligently to get Butler out of the engine bay and sought out the care he desperately needed. Not only did he come by to check on Butler, but he also brought a check from Butler’s Auto Repair that completely covered the remaining balance of his medical bills!

That’s right: Butler’s medical care has been fully covered!

Donations have continued to come in for this brave boy, and we are SO grateful for the outpouring of love and support. We truly would not be able to do any of this without your continued generosity. Any funds raised beyond what Butler needs will be thoughtfully directed where they’re needed most. (Which right now would likely be to help offset the previous cost of a (now adopted!) puppy’s emergency parvo treatment from last month.)

We are incredibly thankful for the Butler’s Auto Repair crew, not just for their generosity, but for being the reason this sweet boy had a fighting chance in the first place!

Butler still has a journey ahead, but he’s surrounded by a whole community that believes in him. And that’s something truly special. Best news of all: this sweet boy was officially adopted today and will be going home as soon as he’s ready! Thank you all so much, once again, for your tremendous outpouring of love and support for this sweet boy!
