Morning stretches & walkies in Arizona! Today is the last day of our adventures together and tonight Ferdinand will be sleeping in his HOME!   We are all enjoying the weather here incase you couldn’t tell!

The biggest leg of Ferdinand’s journey to California has officially been accomplished! This morning we woke up in Texas, drove alllll the way through New Mexico, and now we are resting our paws and heads in Arizona for tonight. We saw lots of mountains, crossed two time zones, sang lots of showtunes in the car, and then we ended the night with In-N-Out! That’s a wrap on day #1 of Ferdinand’s big adventure! Today we journeyed through Kansas and Oklahoma before settling down in Texas for the night. After dinner he got to go sight seeing at Cadillac Ranch and even roll in Texas dirt! Now, we’re all snuggled up for the night. Ferdinand came to us in October of 2024 after being found as a stray in Leavenworth County and has spent about a year in our program at the U.S. Penitentiary. We were absolutely thrilled to hear that his handler was preparing to return home, but we were equally excited to hear that his family wanted to give Ferdinand a forever home too!
