This morning we woke up in Texas, drove alllll the way through New Mexico, and now we are resting our paws and heads in Arizona for tonight. That’s a wrap on day #1 of Ferdinand’s big adventure! Today we journeyed through Kansas and Oklahoma before settling down in Texas for the night. After dinner he got to go sight seeing at Cadillac Ranch and even roll in Texas dirt! Now, we’re all snuggled up for the night. It’s time for all of us to get some good sleeps as we have more adventures ahead of us tomorrow!

FERDINAND'S GOING TO DISNEYLAND... Kind of!
Ferdinand came to us in October of 2024 after being found as a stray in Leavenworth County and has spent about a year in our program at the U.S. Penitentiary. We were absolutely thrilled to hear that his handler was preparing to return home, but we were equally excited to hear that his family wanted to give Ferdinand a forever home too! This handsome fella was found off of 127th Street in Leavenworth County on January 22nd and arrived here at LCHS, Inc on January 23rd.
