Great Day KC Pet Pick - Meet Wendoline!

Did anyone catch these familiar faces on Great Day KC today?!

Wendoline is their Pet Pick of the Week! Wendy is a sweet young Labrador that’s just around 2 years old. This girl was brought to us from the Leavenworth County Sheriff's Office toward the end of May when a member of a mowing crew saw her laying in a ditch after being struck by a vehicle. She received immediate medical care from the amazing crew over at Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic and we were relieved to hear that she didn’t have any fractures! She did get a couple of stitches but the biggest concern would be her mobility. Despite no broken bones, she did seem to have a little bit of nerve damage and had little control over her hind end to begin with. With each passing week she has gotten stronger and stronger and that is something we have all thoroughly enjoyed watching. Now, she may have a little hobble but doesn’t require any special accommodations. She is just a happy-go-lucky young girl who adores being around people and getting loved on!
