Happy Dogust 1st!

In case you didn’t know, August 1st is the unofficial birthday for shelter dogs everywhere and we’re excited to join North Shore Animal League America in celebrating this day! Often pets that come into shelters like ours, have little to no information coming in with them. Not a name or even a birthday— nothing! While we do guesstimate and give each pet a birthday to celebrate with their new families, August 1st gives us the excuse to bake pupcakes, wrap presents, and have a dog-gone good birthday party for the dogs spending it here with us!

What do they all really want for their birthday you may ask? That’s to be ADOPTED! In honor of Dogust 1st, from August 1st, 2024 until August 10th, 2024 we are having a spin-to-win discounted adoption fee special for all dogs and cats that are over 1 year old and have been here more than 60 days. Spin our wheel and get anywhere from $10-$100 off of your adoption fee!
